Tinea Versicolor
Tinea Versicolor (TV) is a common skin infection. Symptoms of TV include scaly patches and pigmentary (lighter or darker color) changes of the skin most commonly on the trunk and extremities. It is caused by a yeast and is common in hot, humid climates. Some people seem to be more susceptible to recurrent TV infections than others. It is easily treatable.
